EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is up 2 3/4 cents per
bushel, November soybeans are up 8 1/4 cents, December KC wheat is up 4 1/2
cents, December Chicago wheat is up 3 1/4 cents, and MIAX December Minneapolis
wheat is up 0.0475 cents.

CME GLOBEX RECAP: On Monday, December corn rose 6 1/4 cents, November rose
23 1/4 cents, and December KC wheat dropped 3 cents. Corn and soft red winter
wheat basis was steady on Monday, while soybean and hard red spring wheat basis
was stronger and hard red winter wheat was weaker. Corn and soybean futures
markets rallied on fears that U.S. crops in the field will yield less than the
USDA estimates due to flooding damage and quality concerns. Traders are
applying a higher risk premium to drier weather throughout most of July
compared with the favorable weather that has prevailed since late July. Most of
the crop-growing weather is over, and the weather ahead will impact grain and
pod fill. Samples of how that is going will come this week, with a Midwestern
crop tour reading yield potential. USDA's Crop Progress Report on Monday
dropped corn and soybean good-to-excellent ratings by 1% compared to a week
ago. Wheat prices, though down to start the week, are underpinned by escalating
war activity in the Black Sea.

OUTSIDE MARKETS: The previous close on Monday showed the Dow Jones
Industrial Average down 272.63 points to 53,459.78 and the S&P 500 down 40.70
points to 7,745.06. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.724%. Early Tuesday,
the September Dow Jones Futures are up 21 points. European markets are lower,
with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.14%, spot futures of
Germany's DAX trading down 0.42%, and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index
down 0.4%. Asian markets are mixed, with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 1.82%
and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 1.61%.
